Who is your ideal client?
We love working with people who are comfortable in their own skin, madly in love, and looking for someone to capture their emotion-filled wedding day in a creative and artistic way with a lot of attention to detail. We work best with people who trust us to do what we do, and let us do it.
Why does professional photography cost this much?
I can’t tell you how many people who were not my clients have come up to me after their wedding and said, “My biggest regret is skimping on the photography”. There is a huge amount of time, education, equipment and experience that goes into producing images for you, much beyond the time spent with you on your wedding day. For generations to come, your one of a kind album and photographs are what you will be able to hand down to your grandchildren. It’s the tactile keepsake of your memories, and it’s worth much more than any dollar amount you could ever spend.
Why do you include an album?
It is so important to me that you have something that you can hold and look at after your wedding. Your album is the product you are commissioning us to provide for you, and something that will transcend our extraordinarily speedy rate of technological development. Think about it, when your grandchildren want to see the images from your wedding, you’ll show them a CD (if you can find it) and they will wonder what it is.
Who do you work best with?
I’ve been working in the wedding industry here for a long time, and have had the opportunity to work with almost all of the vendors in the valley. I can honestly say that I have enjoyed working with just about all of them. There are some that I do work with more frequently than others, and am happy to give you recommendations of some that may suit your personal style best. I am also the co-founder of the Crested Butte-Gunnison Wedding Guide, so it is safe to say that I’ve got my finger on the pulse of all things weddings around here. For the weddings that I have shot outside of the valley, I have enjoyed meeting and working with new vendors. I like to think of myself as easy going and professional, so working with just about anyone shouldn’t be a problem.
Do you have backup equipment?
We use top of the line Nikon equipment, and we bring back ups for all of the essentials.
Can we have a payment plan?
Sure! We require a retainer and a signed agreement to hold your date, and the balance is due on or before your wedding day. If you’d like to set something else up, let us know and we’ll be more than happy to work with you.
Do you take more than one wedding per day?
Do you travel for weddings?
Sure do! We love traveling and being inspired by new locales, we’ll go wherever you invite us, especially if it’s warm in winter.
